This unique project features Banker Wire mesh sandwiched in glass.

The Covington & Burling building, based in Washington, D.C., is one of the more visible members of the city's legal arena. In point of fact, this was a modern office called One CityCenter, housing more than 700 lawyers who serve clients worldwide with almost every form of legal service. Its design marvels at the ability to merge the contemporary architecture with a functional workspace. State-of-the-art facilities back up the firm's commitment to excellence and innovation. Founded in 1919, Covington & Burling LLP is one of the oldest law firms in the country, with nearly a century of experience in advising and representing corporations on complex legal matters, with its Washington office serving as a hub for high-stakes work.

Built by Foster + Partners with the interior designed by LSM, the Covington Center is located in the heart of downtown Washington. LSM created a large conference area enclosed by Banker Wire S-12 woven wire mesh sandwiched between glass. The large glass wall was fabricated by Depp Glass and incorporated the S-12 wire mesh with a custom plated finish applied by Valley City Plating.

The Covington & Burling building shows a refined, modern space throughout its interior design. Clean lines and a basic, understated color scheme reflect professionalism and elegance. The space appears further luxurious due to the high-quality materials used, such as polished wood, decorative wire mesh, and sleek metal accents. Large windows allow natural light to fill up the space, reinforcing the open feel.
