HMS Host is the world's largest food & beverage service provider across airports worldwide. The company offers travelers exciting dining experiences and excellent customer service. The high expectations of quality and craftsmanship carry into their Bethesda headquarters, including the office's furnishings. Certified B Corp Hugo and Hoby worked with Two Bolts Studios to develop fine furniture that enhances the company's space. The design and fabrication company crafted every console with Banker Wire's M22-43, making the wire mesh cabinets a universal theme.

This credenza is one such piece, displayed in the communal space. Shou Sugi Ban wood is a distinctive feature of both the console's shelves and drawers. Although the bright tones stand out, the burned wood grain matches with the patinaed steel of the frame. In addition, the light stainless steel finish of Banker's decorative wire mesh contrasts the darker metal tones.

"This beautiful mesh provided a neutral and professional pallet that complements and connects the various customer elements throughout the office," states Frederick Kukelhaus, founder of Hugo and Hoby.

M22-43 has a double wire weave with flat faces at each intersection. These diamond-shaped facets create the highlighted texture of the woven wire mesh. The reflectivity of the material adds brightness to the lower section of each piece. Though from a distance it appears solid, M22-43 has a 46.3% visual open area. Because of this density, the wire mesh cabinet doors show slight glimpses of the contents.

Wire mesh cabinets are a timeless way to incorporate an industrial accent into a modern space. Banker Wire's architectural woven wire meshes are available in a variety of materials and finishes. The metallic tones of raw materials fit with any style or color surrounding. Finishes like plating and powder coating introduce additional color and design possibilities. As a result, we provide customers with the most options possible.
