Gateway Technical College located in Racine, Wisconsin chose to use custom wire mesh light fixtures as part of their library renovation project. Each square column throughout the space is lit through Banker S-13 heavy flat wire mesh. Each woven wire S-13 mesh blank is formed to create a four sided tray, then mounted using stainless steel barrel standoff hardware. Bending the wire mesh back toward the wall eliminates the need to finish the edges. The natural rounded surface of the bend makes a clean and safe edge.
