Each square column throughout the space is lit through Banker S-13 heavy flat wire mesh. Each woven wire S-13 mesh blank is formed to create a four sided tray, then mounted using stainless steel barrel standoff hardware. Bending the wire mesh back toward the wall eliminates the need to finish the edges. The natural rounded surface of the bend makes a clean and safe edge. Central to this new Leed Silver building is a grand staircase and mezzanine that is lined with Banker Wire's stainless steel 3DZ-151 woven wire mesh. The unique 3-dimensional wire mesh pattern is manufactured by Banker Wire on a specially developed loom. The 3DZ family of metal weaves offer interesting percent-open characteristics unlike anything else. As the viewer changes their perspective, so does the opacity. Fabricator: Berlin Steel DOWNLOAD BANKER WIRE MESH PROJECT SHEET Banker Versatile Spine wire mesh frames were customized to suit the designer's preference for joining a powder coat finished flat bar to the stainless steel wire mesh frame. The Versatile Spine's outside edge had a series of bump outs that would key into the surrounding flat bar slots. When installed, the frames were simply plugged in place like a jigsaw puzzle allowing the two dissimilar metals to be dry fit.
